Hey friends,

It’s been too long since there was an update about what’s going on with Wildewood. Our last show was March 5, 2016 when we played a sold out show with the Merlettes. Since then there has been a great deal of growth with our musical directions.

I moved to Colorado a few weeks ago eager to listen to new music and meet new folks. That being said, I know there will never be a match to Albuquerque’s music scene. I am still involved in a songwriting group based in NM and CO and plan to visit and play regularly.

Alex and Greg are both playing non-stop in Albuquerque. Anyone who has the opportunity to listen to them or collaborate with them should thank his/her lucky stars. A few ways (out of many) to catch them live: Alex will be playing with The Handsome Family on their Fall 2016 tour and Greg is playing drums with Le Chat Lunatique.

For anyone wondering, the John Eric Johnson songs we recorded are still ‘sitting pretty’ at Frogville in Santa Fe.
